Key objectives of scheme:

• To reduce CO2 emissions for business
• Promotion of car sharing
• Promotion and incentivising the purchase of greener fuelled cars
• To eliminate inefficient travel through unnecessary business journeys.

Approximate costs involved in scheme:

Costs to be further analysed.   Initial employer costs are anticipated to increase as people are rewarded for the purchase of Greener vehicles.

1 April 2008
