The conference will consider:  

• Current ideas on preventing the loss of a home for people with mortgage problems or rent arrears   
• How prevention of homelessness can be long-lasting   
• How housing advice can be integrated with advice on employment options, and how to develop sustainable resolutions to homelessness including employing service users   
• Good practice ideas for joint work with Children's Services being as effective as possible, to prevent homelessness for young people for the long term   
• What works to help rough sleepers to stay off the streets for the long term   
• How regional and sub-regional collaboration can bring about lasting solutions to benefit all groups, and how Housing Associations can contribute to this  
• How to get the whole strategic community to put their weight behind action which could bring an end to homelessness in our lifetimes
