There continues to be vast changes to the housing sector with the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) now established and introducing new policies, and a potential new government looming. These changes present new challenges for housing providers, the TSA diversity plan places an emphasis on commitment to Equality and Diversity and they will be developing a framework to measure provider performance on equality and diversity issues; the Audit Commission are making changes to their inspections to reflect the TSA standards and The Equality Bill is currently progressing through parliament. How will you ensure that your organisation considers Equality and Diversity issues when meeting the TSA standards and that you are up to date on policy and legislation?
This established annual Equality and Diversity conference run in conjunction with Housing Diversity Network, is aimed at practitioners to enable them to take practical steps to ensure Equality and Diversity is fully integrated throughout service delivery and that culturally sensitive, more customer focused housing services are provided. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear about the innovate approaches adopted across the sector, network with colleagues, share good practice and consider how your own organisation is delivering around this agenda and what more needs to be done.
