Housing Law 2009 |
![]() |
The Legal Update 2009 offers an opportunity for all housing staff to examine key Housing Law developments over the last 12 months. Delegates will review with expert contributors how social housing providers are effectively dealing with the major changes in social housing management triggered by the new statutory provisions on anti-social behaviour (including latest developments on ASB Closure Orders, ASBOs, ASBIs and possession), recent developments in allocation of social housing and homelessness law and the latest developments in social housing management law. The Courts have been examining the issues of: succession to social housing tenants; dealing with rent arrears; "tolerated trespassers" choiced based letting; homelessness prevention, and much, much more.
The Legal Update 2009 will review their decisions. This essential annual update conference will again be run in conjunction with Jan Luba QC, a leading barrister in the housing field, and will review all the very latest developments.
