We like surprises, but when it comes to extreme weather, it is best to be prepared and ready to deal with extreme conditions.
Our seminars on extreme weather are based on a review completed by a number of our members over the last two years of their risks and successes in planning and managing through extreme weather conditions.
Delegates will hear from local authority emergency planning officers on the techniques they adopt, and from a range of housing organisations on how services were maintained and how the review of their success was reported.
We are keen that this session is interactive and involves delegates sharing their own experience about how they kept their services going in difficult circumstances.
