Current Activity

The Consortium currently has a number of solutions which have been specifically designed in response to members needs.  These solutions are developed to comply with EU Directives and Best Value principles in mind.

Assistive Technology & Telecare

  • Simply Telecare
Offering a high level of practical support combined with an OJEU tested procurement process, Simply Telecare will simplify the process of gaining support for, implementing and managing telecare services in order to maximise overall success.
  • Assistive Technology Partnership
The Consortium has recently managed an open tender procedure via OJEU for the provision, installation and monitoring of community alarms equipment.

Two preferred partners Tunstall and Initial Community Care were appointed following the evaluation process offering members a choice of supplier.   This contract commenced on 1st October 2004 for a three year period.

Firstly there is a maintenance contract in place with the market leading Community Alarm Manufacturer, Tunstall.  As a result of the volume of business managed through the agreement the Consortium has been able to tailor a specific maintenance solution exclusively for its members offering a range of service levels and contract terms.

Following a rigorous OJEU tender process, Cirrus Communication Systems have been appointed as the preferred partner for Third Party Maintenance of Community Alarm Equipment commencing 1st May 2006 for a three year period.

Finanical Services

  • Bill Payments
The Consortium's bill payment solution is currently being re-tendered using an OJEU procedure.
