The Consortium manages two separate contracts for the maintenance of warden call equipment, dispersed alarm units, telecare sensors, door entry equipment and fire systems.

Firstly there is a maintenance agreement in place with the market leading Community Alarm Manufacturer, Tunstall.

This agreement is the largest Community Alarm Maintenance Contract in the UK. As a result of the volume of business managed through the agreement the Consortium has been able to tailor a specific maintenance solution exclusively for its members. This offers the opportunity to influence standards of service delivery and is supplemented with a very advantageous discount structure for users of the contract. This contract runs until 2013 allowing members to take advantage of a three, five or ten year arrangement.

Following a rigorous OJEU tender process, Cirrus Communication Systems, a division of The Peverel Group, have been appointed as the Northern Housing Consortium's preferred partner for the Third Party Maintenance Contract of Community Alarm Equipment commencing on 1 May 2006 for a three year period.

Cirrus are specialists in providing telecommunications, integrated security solutions, warden call and fire system installation, maintenance and monitoring

Members can chose the appropriate maintenance offering to suit their needs.
