Delivering land, right place, right price

In November we published our second interim report exploring how the north can bring forward more land for development of affordable homes which is available for all members to view.

The report focussed on recommendations that we feel would assist in our delivery ambitions - they are grouped around 4 key barriers:

• Understanding the land picture
• Land values
• Accessing Land
• Housing and wider socio-economic policy

The report can be found on our website.

Our final report will be published in March 2009 - this is an ideal opportunity for the North to demonstrate how innovative we can be in tackling delivery in this difficult economic climate and I would urge members to get involved in this workstream.
