Specialised Research

The NHC's research section has carried out numerous specialist research projects. These include Supporting People research, rough sleeping and homelessness investigations, analysis into needs and aspirations of BME households, needs within rural areas, changing demand of terrace and older properties, stock options appraisal surveys, investigating future service requirements of resients and reviewing service delivery.

In addition to carrying out tendered project work, we can also assist Members in undertaking their own in-house research. We can work with organisations to help them produce research briefs, develop methodology and update previous research work. The team is experienced and qualified in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and would look to work with organisations to best meet their needs, utilise resources and answer the research aims and objectives.
