Working in the context of rising demand and increased pressure on budgets and funding there is a need for providers to think creatively and be innovative in their approach to providing adaptations. Working in partnership, reducing delivery times and delivering cost savings are fundamental to enable more people to live independently for longer.
There is also an ever increasing need to prove the case for investment in adaptations; whilst there is a growing body of evidence demonstrating an accessible, adapted home can make a significant contribution to improving quality of life, there is still a need to demonstrate the cost saving to other budgets and build a case for attracting extra investment.
Our annual adaptations conference has established itself as the must attend event for all those working in the adaptations field. It will provide a valuable opportunity for practitioners, strategic housing, and health professionals to consider how to prove the case for adaptations, and will explore how to deliver fast, efficient and effective delivery of adaptations.
In particular, this conference will seek to explore:
- value for money approaches to housing adaptations
- the role of registered providers
- rehousing vs adapting
- building and demonstrating the evidence case
- improving performance and outcomes
- the role of Home Improvement Agencies
- joint team approaches
The established adaptations exhibition will also allow delegates to interact with a wide range of suppliers.
