The proposed new standards for social housing providers are the centrepiece of the TSA’s new regulatory framework; within this the TSA and the Audit Commission have embarked on a fundamental review of the approach to inspections to join up with the standards. This, alongside the need to develop local standards that reflect the priorities of local communities, present new challenges and opportunities for the housing sector. How will you respond to these requirements and effectively involve tenants in setting standards, governance and scrutiny?

In its 10th year, this two day conference, will provide delegates with the chance to explore the requirements of the new regulatory framework and hear about the latest policy developments and tools to help you engage with your customers. It will provide you with the opportunity to learn about and discuss the future direction of this significant agenda and what it all means for the housing sector and your communities. This conference is an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues, hear about good practice and innovative approaches adopted across the country, and to consider how your own organisation is delivering resident involvement and what further approaches need to be explored.

In particular, this conference will seek to explore:

  • What the TSA standards mean for your organisation
  • The role of the National Tenants Voice
  • Do you know your customers?
  • Getting young people involved
  • Building capacity of your tenants in the scrutiny role
  • Innovation across the sector in resident involvement
  • Measuring your impact
