Can we help with your procurement priorities? – Our bespoke procurement service is now available to our members

Can we support you by offering capacity to your procurement team? We are delighted to announce that we now offer a bespoke procurement service for our members which adds another service to our already comprehensive offer.

Our procurement professionals can support you through any procurement exercise from start to finish, delivering value for money and offering peace of mind.

Consortium Procurement has been carrying out procurement exercises for more than 20 years and strives to keep ourselves up-to-date with UK and EU procurement regulations and practices.

Louise Chase, Procurement and Contracts Manager at the NHC said: “Through conducting our own OJEU tenders we understand that managing capacity throughout the procurement process can be quite difficult. We know for example there are quieter times in the process when documents have been issued to the market; however evaluations are very resource intensive.”

With this in mind and with an understanding of the challenging environment our members are working in, we have developed the bespoke procurement offer.

We are able to support our members by:

  • Advising on the best procurement route for their requirements
  • Providing compliant, tailored documentation for the project
  • Engaging with the market on your behalf
  • Completing all required OJEU documentation
  • Managing the administration of the process, clarifications and queries from the market, through a fully auditable online e-procurement portal
  • Establishing the pre-start meeting and manage the contract signature process

“We have undertaken a variety of exercises on behalf of our members, including HR and Payroll Services, Call Monitoring Services and Capital Works Programmes and would encourage you to get in touch, regardless of the service/products being procured. Our procurement team is flexible in its approach to every specific task and we are always happy to work with our members to discuss the best route for them,” said Louise Chase.

Consortium Procurement recently completed a bespoke procurement exercise on behalf of Incommunities Group Ltd for the procurement of Occupational Health services and supported Penny Gilyard, Assistant HR Director at Incommunities Group Ltd in the tendering process.

She said: “I would recommend the bespoke service to other clients who may need external support and guidance with procurement legislation and designing the tender specification. The procurement process was compliant and we were able to gain an Occupational Health service which meets the needs of the business.”
