The Northern Housing Consortium is pleased to welcome John Dunn, former Director of Housing Services at Bolton at Home, who was instrumental in developing an ethical lettings agency proposal in Greater Manchester working in conjunction with social landlords in the immediate area to deliver new services to new customers.

The session will take place on Thursday 17 January 2019 between 2pm and 4pm in the Heaton Suite, Incommunities, Shipley.

As housing associations and local authorities increasingly look to diversify their services to represent a diverse housing market, the ethical lettings agency model is becoming a model that many registered providers are looking to emulate and replicate in their areas.

John will speak about the impetus to establish the ethical lettings agency; guide attendees through the processes involved in setting up the organisation, explore common pitfalls and areas of importance and generally lead attendees through the process of setting up an ethical lettings agency.

This session will be very useful for those thinking of establishing an ethical lettings agency or those with a general interest in the model who would like to learn more about how they operate.
