20 June 2018 will see the launch of the Safety in Neighbourhoods series of Roundtables, the latest topic-specific network free to attend for members of the Northern Housing Consortium.

Having ran a regional Anti-Social Behaviour Study Group for several years, this new forum acknowledges the changing role of ASB Teams and the greater focus placed on collaboration and wider community safety issues.

The Safety in Neighbourhoods Network will provide an opportunity for colleagues to share ideas and learn best practice from a range of speakers, including colleagues from across housing sector in the North as well as other practitioners.

In this first meeting, Ward Hadaway will examine how ASB and Neighbourhood teams have been specifically impacted by the new GDPR regulations.

Each meeting will dedicate time to networking and allow attendees to pose questions to the group in an informal environment.

Agenda –

  • GDPR and ASB Teams
    • Simon Thirtle, Associate – Property Litigation, Ward Hadaway
  • Team Transformation
    • A member-led discussion on the new trends and changes their teams have seen in recent years
  • Open Discussion
    • Questions can be submitted in advance to be circulated as part of the agenda (email below)
  • Future meetings
    • The Safety in Neighbourhoods Network will meet quarterly and be member lead. Suggestions on topics and themes you would like the group to explore are greatly encouraged.

Further topics and speakers will be confirmed in due course.
