Engaging parliamentarians is an important aspect of Northern Housing Consortium activity.
We seek to do this by ensuring that Members of Parliament receive timely information about the role of housing across the North. We do this through:

The APPG for Housing in the North meets regularly in Parliament to discuss key issues facing the housing sector in the North.
Parliament in Action
Ensuring we feed into relevant questions, debates or select committee hearings and legislation taking place in either the House of Commons or the House of Lords. We undertake an assessment of all forthcoming parliamentary business and ensure views of NHC members are put forward.
