This conference will address the key strategic role of Local Authorities in a changing landscape.

With the devolution agenda, competing priorities, the government’s commitment to delivering homes and Housing and Planning Act regulations still to come, we will examine how Local Authorities across the North are transforming their strategic housing role to meet new challenges.

Delegates will have the opportunity to take part in all sessions, and there will be time for questions and discussion. The conference will be chaired by Karen Lythe, Service Manager – Strategic Housing, City of Wakefield MDC.

Speakers include:

  • John Clephan, Project Director, Sheffield Housing Company
  • Chris Buckle, Savills Housing Consultancy
  • Martin Ellerby, Head of New Business and Innovation, Place First
  • Martin Waters, Lead – Housing Growth and Renewal, Tees Valley Combined Authority

This conference has a nominal charge of £29 for members.
