Housing providers are often established parts of their communities, building trust with tenants and residents and providing vital services and support. The data housing providers hold on their tenants and residents is critical to providing effective, sustainable and appropriately targeted services. Data also plays a significant role in performance improvement and responding to housing’s ever-changing policy landscape.

However, the quality of data housing providers hold is widely recognised as problematic. Poor data significantly limits our ability to work smarter making meaningful analysis on many aspects of the business frustrating and time consuming. These challenges restrict how we can work individually, as well as how we share data to work more collaboratively and more efficiently.

Although the sector recognises these challenges, individual attempts to make changes have proven overwhelmingly resource intensive.

HACT has brought together a vanguard of housing providers to create a shared, sector-wide Data Standard, with the ambition to transform the way the housing sector operates.

NHC in conjunction with HACT would like to invite you to a FREE member roundtable.

  • Discuss challenges and barriers around data and making best use of it.
  • Hear from HACT’s project team on the Data Standard for Housing.
  • Hear from project partners first-hand.
  • Share good practice
  • Network with colleagues.
