Come to be inspired: Leave to be inspiring.

At the NHC we love supporting and listening to our members and their customers sharing how resident involvement has an impact on neighbourhoods and communities and the success of some of the front runners in the business.

Change is constant. Just now, we have landlord services which are coping with reduced investment due to rent cuts as well as further uncertainty on income relating to Welfare Reform.

This conference will look at housing and its role with communities. We will consider how the sector is changing to cope with new risks and pick up the best examples of how customer opinion and the importance of the customer influence has become even more important.

We will look at how front running landlords have reshaped their involvement strategies to cope with the changes and you can hear from customer groups who are involved in new ways of engaging with their landlords.

Many landlords are reviewing their role in various cost saving groups, like merger and strategic partnerships, both outside and within a new devolved government region. We will be looking at those leading the way, how their customers have been involved and what good practice looks like at a time when the housing regulator is also pursuing a deregulation agenda.

We will be looking at private sector approaches to involvement and harnessing those ideas for listening to and acting on customer views.

We want everyone attending the conference to leave knowing they’ve learned something new and that they are inspired by the people they meet.

Over the two days we have a range of excellent speakers and projects and we hope you can join us to discuss how we show the benefits of customer influence in shaping service and delivering landlord efficiency targets.

Our Northern Silver Screen Awards will also be taking place on the first evening of this event – a great opportunity to take part in and celebrate good practice and inspiring stories from our members and their communities. Delegates at the event will also get a chance to vote for in the awards.

**For a limited time we’re offering 3 for 2 on places at this event (third delegate place excludes accommodation and conference dinner, this will be charged at £80 and £39 +VAT respectively)**
