Yorkshire and Humber Policy Network Meeting

The Northern Housing Consortium, as a membership body, has recently set up and facilitated a Yorkshire & Humber Policy Network Group – which essentially is a group of Y&H members from Housing Associations and Local Authorities and will provide members with the opportunity to meet up quarterly in different member venues across the Y&H Region to share good practice, discuss policy developments and what they mean for the Y&H region and hear from other organisations around their challenges and approaches adopted to mitigate impact on the business and their tenants.

The next Yorkshire & Humber Policy Network meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday 14th June, from 10.30-12.30pm at Arches Housing,  and is free for NHC members.At the first meeting in Leeds, members around the table agreed a few topics to be discussed at future meetings, and the agenda for the next meeting will include:

1. Welcome & Introductions
2. NHC Update – Satty Rai
3. Allocation & Lettings – Member update followed by group discussion/sharing approaches – if your organisation has or is planning to review its policies, please get in touch as it would be good for a members to present their approach at the meeting, followed then by wider discussion
4. Universal Credit update – ALL
5. General Update – ALL
6. Date & Time of next meeting
